in other news: a couple weeks ago our youth group had a table social as a fundraiser for our upcoming chorus tour. all the girls were supposed to pair up with another girl, plan a meal, and decorate a table for 2 guys.  the guys would then bid on whichever table they wanted to eat at (without knowing whose table it was) and the 2 highest bidders would buy the table and eat the meal with the girls who had prepared it.  i did the table with my friend Steph.  our meal: chicken breast, mashed potatoes, crescent rolls, rita salad, sparkling grape juice, and chocolate striped delight for dessert.   it was so fun to watch the guys bid. our table ended up getting the highest bid--a total of $300. =) pretty sure it was the chicken and mashed potatoes that got them going. =) i wish i had pictures of it but my camera has horrible quality so i rarely take any pics.  anyways, we had a great time!

*sigh*  for some reason i totally miss my out-of-state cousins right now. maybe it's because my graduating friends have cousins coming in to p.c. for graduation.  maybe it's because i havent seen them since christmas.  or maybe it's just because i love them and am looking forward to hopefully seeing them sometime this summer. *cross your fingers* i love you guys!

a couple weeks ago our friends from canada (Nate Hochstedlers) were in the area so we had them over for supper one night.  it was so great seeing them again! abby-you are so much fun! its great acting crazy with you and laughing our hearts out about our stupid "inside" jokes. ;) the main thing i like about you tho is...well, most people probably wouldnt appreciate this but i know you'll understand...you're simple. ha! =) love you!!

honestly i just wanna go back. back to canada. back to fishing. back to a simple lifestyle. back to never worrying about whether my day is going to go as scheduled-because it wont. back to being "at home" in a place that's not your "real" home. maybe some day...
